Fields available in the meta box:

  • Theme & Template — override the visual style for this post
  • Title & Subtitle — leave blank to use the post title and excerpt automatically
  • Author / Brand / Company — shown at the bottom of the image
  • Font & Style — choose a font and apply bold/italic
  • Image — author photo, product image, or profile photo depending on the theme

Click Generate Image to create or regenerate the OG image for this post. The result is shown as a live preview inside the meta box.

FAQ

Will the plugin work without an API key?
Yes. Free features are fully available without a key. An API key is only needed to unlock Pro rate limits and advanced features.
Does it work with custom post types?
Yes. Go to Settings → OG Image Generator → Behaviour and check the post types you want to enable.
Will it conflict with Yoast SEO / RankMath / All in One SEO?
By default the plugin overrides og:image regardless of other plugins. If you want Yoast etc. to take priority, uncheck "Override Existing og:image" in Behaviour settings.
How do I update the plugin?
Download the latest ZIP from this page and re-upload it via Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin. WordPress will ask you to confirm the upgrade.
Where is the generated image stored?
Images are generated by the OG Awesome API and served from a CloudFront CDN. The URL is stored in your post meta and injected into the og:image tag automatically.
